Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant with strong experience in QuickBooks to manage and streamline our receivables processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records to ensure timely cash inflows and financial accuracy. 

Key Responsibilities:   

Generate and send customer invoices using QuickBooks.   

Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.   

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.   

Maintain accurate records of all transactions in QuickBooks.   

Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.   

Assist in month-end closing procedures related to receivables.   

Prepare reports on outstanding receivables and collection efforts.   

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.   

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. 

Qualifications:   

Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and bookkeeping.   

Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online).   

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.   

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.   

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.   

Prior experience with reconciliation and collections.   

 Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field a plus, but not required. 

Preferred Skills:   

Must be proficient in creating Excel spreadsheets/Graphs, Word, Office 365 Outlook and Data Entry experience. 

Knowledge of general ledger and other accounting functions.   

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
