Duties and Responsibilities

1st Shift and 3rd Shifts Available must be able to commute to Lexington

1st Shift hours are 6:00am-6:00pm

3rd Shift hours are 6:00pm-6:00am

Able to do 12 hour shifts with 2-2-3 schedule

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as scheduled
• Ability to commute reliably to the Lexington location
• Take initiative and work proactively with minimal supervision
• Willingness to assist other departments as needed
• Safely operate lift trucks and forklifts
• Read, understand, and follow shop orders, production schedules, and written or verbal instructions
• Meet and exceed company expectations for safety, quality, and productivity
• Report equipment or operational issues to maintenance and notify supervisors promptly
• Pick, pull, and stage orders accurately
• Follow all safety rules and regulations at all times
• Maintain proper housekeeping throughout the shift
• Demonstrate punctuality and dependable attendance
• Use forklifts to move products within the warehouse and to load/unload shipments

PPE Requirements

• Safety glasses and hearing protection is required and provided.
• Safety shoes are required and are to be purchased by the employee.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of the shift
• Position requires frequent bending, stooping, stretching, and reaching

Education and/or Experience Level

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter who is well organized and able to work independently
• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
• Flexibility to perform multiple job functions and duties as needed
• Forklift certification preferred, or prior experience operating a forklift
• Machine operating experience preferred
• Warehouse experience preferred
