Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both automated and manual industrial equipment. This role requires a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and programming systems, with a focus on continuous improvement and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair automated/manual equipment using electrical, electronic, and programmatic skills.
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and robotic programs.
  • Identify process and equipment issues; design and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production personnel, skilled trades, and management.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout practices.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Welding certification preferred.
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in robotics/automation repair preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of industrial automation, controls, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in the use of tools such as multimeters, hand tools, and lockout/tagout devices.
  • Working knowledge of PLC programming and controls; experience with Yaskawa robots a plus.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with parts identification, ordering, and inventory control.
  • Experience in welding, electrical, or plumbing is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 45+ lbs repetitively.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
  • May require working at elevated heights or in confined spaces (permit-required).

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing setting with variable temperature and humidity.
  • Exposure to textile dust, paint/weld fumes (within OSHA standards), and moderate noise.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Hearing protection required.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent English reading and writing required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
